Your thought is as important as your life, whatever you are today is a direct result of your thoughts yesterday. We need to understand the power of our mind and use it productively for our own benefit, therefore we need to spend a little time every day to observe and control what we allow our mind to think. These five points will help you understand my opinion.
Number One: Your thought is the door that leads to the spiritual realm; it can touch the spiritual realm positively or negatively. When you start to think; you are ascending to the spiritual plane: if your thought is positive, that is, a good thought about your life, finances, health, family, etc.; then you are invoking the angels of goodness and mercy to begin working on your behalf. If you make those good thoughts the ruling thoughts of your heart day in and day out, you will begin to see unlimited success in all situations and circumstances. When situations occur that tend to limit you, your thinking will take you far above those limitations, and if you persist in raising your thoughts above those limitations, they will soon fade away.
Number two: most of the time your thoughts are the moving images you see in your dream. Every time you have a dream, it is a revelation of your thought, there are three sources from where the dream can reach your thought, these are
(a) Of God
(b) Of his own spirit or mind
(c) Of the devil
Let us consider the dream of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 2: 29.30 As for you, O king, in your bed your thoughts came to your mind, what will happen after this; and the one who reveals the secrets lets you know what will happen. . But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me by some wisdom that I have more than any living, but because of them who will make known the interpretation to the king and so that you may know the thoughts of your heart. From the above scriptures we reliably deduced that our dreams are the thoughts of our heart.
Number three: your thinking is powered by positive imagination. Imagination is creating your future or desired outcome; faith thrives in the realm of the imagination. With the power of your imagination, you see very clearly the kind of car you will use in the future, your home and want to live your life. You know through your imagination, what you will have, the kind of lifestyle that suits you, etc. If you hold this imagination firmly in your heart, you will soon have or be what you constantly see in your mind’s eye. For example, if you believe that God will bless you with a car, your faith is strong, and through faith you are sure that you now have a specific car, it takes the power of imaginative thinking to actualize what your faith knows you have. it’s yours.
Number Four: The relationship between your faith and your thinking: – In the Bible, the book of Hebrews 11:1 we read,
“So faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Another translation puts it this way: “Now faith is confirmation of things hoped for…” I like that translation. To substantiate means to make real or prove that what is really true is really true. There are many things that are real but we cannot corroborate (or prove), for example, Mount Everest is the highest mountain on planet earth, but I have never seen it, I have never been there to see it face to face. Going there to see it physically is a way of verifying that Everest is really a great mountain. Some have seen it only in pictures and many have not seen it at all. The one who really went there; that he has actually seen all the other mountains: he is the one who can corroborate this fact more than any other. Your thought and imagination is the power that God has given you by means of which you can really corroborate the things that you really expected by faith. Let’s assume that you believe God for a car, you prayed, you believed in the word of God that says: “If we pray according to his will, he hears us”. He even quotes 1 John 5:15 which says, “and if we know that he hears us, whatever our request, we know that we have the request that we asked of him.” So, by faith in the word of God, you know that God has given you a car. Note that when he knows that he has the car, he no longer believes because of the car, he knows that he has it and no longer needs to believe because of what he already has. This is the message of Mark 11:23. When you operate on this level, your thinking is fixed on what God has done even though you haven’t seen it physically. You see it clearly in your mind, you allow your thought to convince your subconscious mind that you already have it. And the result of such faith has never failed anyone, the result is having everything you believe for. It is so simple but it is the absolute truth.
Number Five: Know how to destroy all other contrary thoughts. The Bible says in 11 Corinthians 10:3-5 that
“Because although we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. Because the weapons of our warfare are not channels, but mighty in God for the destruction of strongholds; Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.”
Every thought you allow into your heart must be held captive to the obedience of Christ. You must test every thought and imagination; you must rebuke and correct all contrary thinking. It is very important, try to understand this truth that you are about to read: No matter how hard you try, the devil will throw some bad thoughts at you from time to time. Some enemies (or even some friends) can also think and project bad thoughts against you and your spiritual antenna can receive them, if you are very sensitive you can throw it quickly and bring down all imagination and arrogance that stands against your progress. . Keep this in mind too, when you wake up from a deep sleep and remember a bad dream, it is a bad thought from the devil, and you must bind his power and effect against your life and his family. If you link the bad dream in prayers (and you should), believe that God heard you and never allow the devil to prolong that bad thought in your mind.
