The real secret to quickly buy an electric scooter

If this doesn’t excite you, nothing will! Electric scooters can sometimes be purchased for up to 50% off if you can be a little patient and know where to look. Electric scooters are insanely fun these days, and they seem to have taken the world by storm. I see several of them all the time walking up and down my street here in Houston, and I have read that they are popular in many European countries.

What many people don’t know is that there is a way to get a discount on their new electric scooter using an old tactic in a slightly new way. It’s called a price comparison (and a little patience). Yes, this is an old tactic, but it still works. And it works very well. The internet makes it really easy to do this as long as you put in just a little bit of work. This is how you would look for a new electric scooter.

1) Get started at Froogle.com. This is Google’s shopping search engine where you can search for what you need. Try searching for ‘electric scooter’, ‘electric scooter sale’ or even ‘electric scooter discount’. This should generate an impressive number of electric scooter retailers vying for your business. Write down the best prices and the offer you see.

2) Do the same searches on normal Google.com. Pay attention to the ads on the right side. Generally, right-side ads are ‘sponsored ads’ where providers pay a large amount of money (often more than $ 1 / click) to place their ads on the right side of the results for certain keywords per those that bid in a kind of virtual keyword auction. Visit a few sites and write down the best deals you see here.

3) Run the same searches on Yahoo.com. Pay attention to the sponsored ads on the right hand side. Yahoo owns Overture, which runs its pay-per-click business. Often times, you will find different providers advertising on Yahoo than on Google. You want to compare as many different electric scooter companies as possible. They are more the best. This is why Yahoo is worth a visit, not just Google. Visit a few sites and write down the best deals you see here.

4) Now visit eBay and do a search for ‘electric scooter’ and ‘electric scooters’. Write down the results and watch some auctions for a week or so. Write down the prices at which you see things being sold. You can usually hit ‘view this auction’ on MyEbay as a kind of bookmark so you can see all the sales that occur for particular items.

5) Come back in 2 weeks and do it all over again. At the end of this, you will be able to know that you have done a lot of research and will know where the best deals are.

Overall, I wouldn’t be surprised if you could save over 50% on a new electric scooter by doing this. After all, you did the job – you have the right to get paid for it. There are more tricks than this, and this is not all. But it is a start to get you your new electric scooter.
