What is skype? For those of you who are tech savvy, this question is so ridiculous to you. But what about others who don’t know Skype? Skype is free software that you can download online. Google the word “SKYPE”. Once you find your website, proceed to the download button. Get your Skype working or else you won’t be able to call. Calling someone from Skype to another Skype is free. Even if the person lives in another country, they will not spend a penny just to talk to someone.
Facetime
Facetime is an application available only for Apple products. You can only connect with someone who has a Facetime app on their iPhone, iPad, or PC using their email or phone number. Like Skype, you have voice and video calls for someone that is free. The only difference between Skype and Facetime is that if you have the latest Apple products, you have a video call with someone
QQ is one of the leading free applications that helps Asians to learn another language through the Internet. One of the downsides is that QQ runs using Chinese characters. For English tutors, what they can do is use Google Translate to register and get a new account.
