Interior design ideas for your home

Interior design has always been fun, right? The fact is, you don’t have to spend extra money on ‘expert designers’ to design YOUR home. You can do it by yourself! Just be honest with your spouse and children, sit down, think and decide. It’s actually that simple: I give you the tips that I have used myself and won praise from the neighbors. I’m sure you will too!

As a general advice, keep your living room as bright as possible and your bedroom as dark as possible. Keep other rooms in between. Remember, stoves can emit some smoke if you are not using a fireplace. So try to keep it in a darker color at least on the walls if you don’t want to clean them every other day. Also remember to match the color of your wall / furniture and even appliances to the color of the floor tiles.

There are people who want neutral colors like Beige, Black, White, Gray, etc. There are people who want vibrant colors on the walls and elsewhere. Consult with your partner to decide what color you want to paint the walls, furniture, etc. You can try painting all the rooms in one color. This would be a great idea, only some people who are creative might not like it. The other extreme is to paint each wall in a room with different colors or at least alternate or opposite walls with different colors. There are people in the middle, who would like to paint each room with a color.

Create cup and drawer boards to store your groceries. In fact, you will need ample space for this and this should be your main consideration when designing your kitchen. Design the height, location and width of the draws based on how often you will reach the items; most frequently contacted should be the closest and most easily accessible to you. The next step is to move the space. Of course, you need room to move, right? Keep ample space in a straight line so you don’t trip over your partner when the two of you rush to their offices!

You don’t want to forget about your appliances, if you are the type of person who has no appliances and no life. You have microwave ovens, multi-burner gas stoves, electronic fireplaces, mixers, juicers, coffee makers, toasters, etc. Design spaces compactly for these. You might consider buying custom packages from the market if you have a lot of money!

The bedroom has to be gloomy and yet full of life! Challenging huh! It really is about designing your bedroom the first time. Choose appropriate colors on the walls and your bed and your sheets as well. Do not forget to light your bedroom properly. People often make the mistake of lighting the bedroom as if they were hosting the G7 summit. What? Good …

If you have children or teens who go to school, ask them what they think. Be as creative as you can when decorating your children’s rooms. Use cartoons on the wall, but only wallpaper so they can redesign it when they grow up. Use vibrant colors. If you have 2 or more children, consider purchasing a tiered crib. Most importantly, ask them. If they don’t like your idea, they may be reluctant to use that room!
