Cool Halloween costume ideas for skinny people

The best thing about being a skinny person is that most costumes will look great on you. Most costumes look better on skinny people, especially tall and skinny, but sometimes it can be hard to find the right costume or something that isn’t too generic.

So, you’re looking for a cool costume for a skinny person and you’re not sure what to do, check out the suggestions above. Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve included you both, so you don’t feel left out.

Ladies, why not consider a sexy costume? If you are slim, you probably have beautiful legs and you could show them off in some of the many sexy costumes available. However, a lot of them are pretty clichéd, schoolgirls, French maids, that sort of thing. Why not look for a can can dancer costume? They’re uncommon, which makes them interesting, but they come in beautiful colors, so you still have your pick. Since you are thin, you should wear a petticoat under your dress to make it puff out. Keep in mind that someone is going to be smart and I suggest you do the can for them. So check out our YouTube for an instructional video and wear a pair of shorts underneath so you don’t show anyone.

Another less sexy and revealing option is to go as Twiggy. If you don’t know her, she was a popular model in the 1960s, known for being extremely skinny. For this she sees, she uses Google image search to dig up some photos. She is known for a short, almost boyish, side-swept haircut and lots of eyelashes. So, once you’ve taken a look at the photos of her, go to your local thrift store and browse through her vintage fashions until you find something you like. Pair it with boots or heels, false eyelashes and style your hair or wear a short wig. Now you have a costume that will not be like the others.

For skinny guys, you can always go as Luigi, the oft-forgotten half of the Mario brothers. Go to your local thrift store and buy a green turtleneck, overalls, white gloves, and a green trucker hat or baseball cap. Paint a white circle on your hat, with a green L in the center. Also, buy a fake mustache, either in the Halloween section of a store, or go to the kids’ section and see if they have a fake one. The bushier and rowdier, the better.

Another option, though not entirely for skinny guys, is to go as a Twister set. Go buy a copy of Twister and staple some ribbon or twine to the edges of the turntable, so you can tie it on your head like a hat. Cut a hole in the game board so it slips over your head like a poncho. Wear your normal clothes under the ensemble, or dress in all black. You can get people upset if you’re at a party by suggesting blue right hand or other tornado stances to see what they’ll do.
